AML Officer (part-time)

JoyFlick (Zucca Games Inc., a Delaware corporation) is a real-money skill gaming platform: casual, skill-based arcade games and tournaments where players compete for prizes. Outcomes depend on skill, not chance. We are preparing our US launch and onboarding with payment service providers. Currently, we're looking for an AML Officer to join our team.

Your responsibilities include

  • Supporting a newly established organization through onboarding and licensing with its payment partners.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in support of the business strategy and growth.

  • Mitigating financial-crime risk and supporting the key elements of the firm's risk profile in respect of financial-crime risk.

  • Drawing up and implementing AML/KYC risk policies and procedures, keeping them in sync with regulations and associated requirements and controls, and maintaining a central policy repository with approvals and documentation.

  • Overseeing customer due diligence and transaction monitoring, and making and documenting suspicious-activity (SAR) decisions.

  • Liaising with external stakeholders, such as our payment providers, acquirers and correspondent banks.

  • Establishing and maintaining an effective compliance framework — policies, processes, procedures and controls — and delivering AML training to the team.

We are looking for someone with

  • US residency (required) and the ability to act as our designated BSA/AML Compliance Officer.

  • CAMS certification (CRCM or CFCS considered equivalent).

  • Several years of hands-on BSA/AML experience in payments, fintech or money services businesses (MSBs), including program ownership.

  • A working knowledge of the BSA, FinCEN expectations, OFAC and state money-transmission considerations.

  • Experience working directly with banks, acquirers or PSPs on onboarding and due diligence.

  • Clear, pragmatic judgment: you can say "no" when needed and explain "how" when possible.

  • Nice to have: experience with gaming, sweepstakes, daily fantasy sports (DFS) or skill-based gaming operators, and building an AML program from scratch.

What we offer

We offer a flexible part-time B2B contract, with the possibility of full-time employment in the future. This role allows a flexible remote work model
